I have found that having diversified mix of movie favourites makes for great return on social investment. As a cinephile, having a good pick of block busters, indies, thrillers and pure comedy has opened up a lot of avenues of opportunity in social settings. Saving and investing is usually seen as a very individual activity: where singular undertakings and risks can yield very singular reward. Which is great when you’re an island, but a lot of us belong to communities and little clubs that we would love to see flourish. As social creatures and members of the EasyCommunity that loves sharing with one another our investment journeys and strategies, it's only natural to want to know more about how we can invest as communal groups.

Some unforgettable firsts with 5fm

Not all first times are created equal. That’s for sure. There are a few that stand out for me – the first time I took my driver’s license and rolled back on the incline start. Blind. The first time I ran 10km and couldn’t move for three days. The first time I had to break up with a boyfriend, or be broken up with; and then the first five post-break kilograms that I had to work off. The first time I took a real hard look at my spending habits. The first time I applied for a bond. The first time I asked for a raise.
