Hopes of tariff relief and Friday’s U.S. jobs report kept traders optimistic. [According](https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-04-30/stock-market-today-dow-s-p-live-updates) to the Chief Investment Officer for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at HSBC Global Private Banking, “So far, we’re seeing big tech companies deliver on earnings, which is reassuring... The other element of the story beyond earnings is obviously the ongoing debate as to whether we’ve seen peak tariff noise or not.” Microsoft and Meta closed the week higher after reporting earnings:  - **Microsoft **is expected to maintain its quarterly dividend one more time after the latest results before increasing it.  - **Meta **is expected to maintain the same payout as last quarter for the rest of the year.  In contrast to the tech rally, shares of iPhone maker Apple declined despite surpassing market expectations, as the CEO noted that it’s difficult to determine or predict tariff costs beyond June, when they expect modest growth in overall revenue.  - However, **Apple **increased its cash dividend to shareholders, continuing its tradition of raising its quarterly dividend annually.  Shares of Amazon slipped following its mixed earnings but closed the week slightly higher.  For this week:  Palantir, Hims & Hers, Ford, Ferrari, Marriott International, AMD, Uber, Shopify, DraftKings, Walt Disney, AppLovin, and Coinbase are scheduled to report.  - **AMD **is expected to maintain its dividend payout.  - **Marriott **expects to increase its dividend.
