Why is saving important?

There is a difference between saving and investing. Saving is when one saves up to spend later.

First of all one needs to be disciplined - it takes a clear positive mind with goals to start investing. Secondly if everyone in South Africa could save a small portion monthly we could increase the value on the weak currency to be more positive.
