November was another interesting month for South Africa, the month started with more dreaded loadshedding, keeping everyone on their toes.
The Local Government and Municipal Elections took place with lower voter turnout compared to previous years.
People enjoyed the less restrictive Adjusted Level 1 lockdown and were venturing out of their houses more and were getting excited for their annual holidays coming up in December.
At the end of the month the brilliant South African Scientists discovered the Omicron variant and instead of being praised for their work the country was punished with travel restrictions. This hampered the market and the economy at a time when it is already fragile.
