Monthly Bundle Returns - March 2022

Written by Brady Rothschild | Apr 13, 2022 9:03:34 AM

War raged on in Ukraine as Russia continued to attack. The rest of the world imposed sanctions on the Russian government going so far as to even remove Russia from the SWIFT banking system. In the U.S. the Federal Reserve increased the repo rate by 25 basis points to try and curb the rapidly increasing inflation rate.

In South Africa, the interest rate also went up 0.25%. The cost of fuel increased again and fueled the Uber strike. Consumers are feeling the pressure, unable to keep up with the rising cost of inflation and having no more room to tighten their belts. As we continue to see the easing of COVID-19 restrictions in SA, no masks need to be worn outdoors and 50% capacity at sporting stadiums. South Africans are excited for life to return a bit more to normal. Hopefully this will help the market strengthen again and as the market slid from a strong February performance.

Let’s see out how the bundles performed throughout March- Click on the table below.

Please kindly note that the data provided above is based on past performances and may not be indicative of future results. Another reminder that we must make mention of this for legal reasons.
