Monthly Bundle Returns - July 2021

Former president, Jacob Zuma was sent to prison for his contempt of court. This kicked off mass riots and looting in KZN and Gauteng that caused billions of Rands to be lost by major retailers. The country struggled with the 3rd wave of COVID-19 causing restaurants and bars to be closed once again. As well as alcohol sales to be halted. The vaccination program in the country continued to progress, with many people 40-50 years of age receiving at least one dose of the vaccine. The JSE declined and the Rand took another hit to the US Dollar.
