You Asked, We Listed: The Most Requested Investments Now on EasyEquities

Written by TeamEasy | Apr 11, 2026 7:00:00 AM

You’ve been clear about what you want from your investments this year. We’ve focused on adding exactly that.

On EasyEquities, what gets listed is shaped by how you invest. We looked at what you’ve been searching for, requesting, and adding to your portfolios, and used that to guide this year’s new instruments.

A consistent pattern came through. Investors are still looking for growth, with more balance and protection built into their portfolios.

These are some of the most requested stocks and ETFs we’ve added in 2026, and how they fit into that approach.

More AI? You asked for it

Artificial intelligence continues to be one of the most in-demand investment themes globally, and that demand is reflected on the platform.

To make this more accessible, we added Ivy EasyETFs AI Innovation AMETF (IVYAI). This AMETF gives South African investors exposure to a diversified group of global companies involved in AI, all in a single investment.

We also added more specialised AI-focused stocks, including BigBear.ai (BBAI), D-Wave Quantum (QBTS), and Zeta Global (ZETA).

These companies operate across different parts of the AI ecosystem, from data and analytics to infrastructure and emerging technologies.

Together, they give you more ways to approach AI investing, whether through a diversified ETF or more targeted positions in individual stocks.

Earning while you wait sounds better, right

Passive income has become a bigger priority for many investors, especially in a market environment where interest rates remain elevated and returns can be uneven.

In response, we expanded our range of income-generating and balanced funds on EasyEquities.

New additions include:
  • Satrix Income AMETF (STXINC)
  • Satrix SA Inc AMETF (STXSAI)
  • Amplify Strategic Income Feeder (AMPSTI and UAMPSTI)
  • Prescient Balanced and China
  • Balanced feeders (PBLNCD and PANDA).
These funds are designed to generate income while maintaining diversified exposure across asset classes. They can help smooth out returns and support a more consistent investment journey over time, while keeping your money actively invested.

Going global just got easier

Demand for simpler offshore investing continues to grow.

To make this easier, we added global ETFs like Satrix MSCI Japan (STXJPN) and the Stoxx Europe 600 (STXEUR).

These ETFs are available across core accounts, TFSA, and our global wallets, making it easier to include global exposure in your portfolio without additional complexity.

For South African investors, this opens up more opportunities to diversify across regions and reduce concentration in a single market.

Let the experts do some of the work

There is also growing interest in investments that offer global exposure through professional management.

We added instruments such as:
  • Prescient China Balanced Feeder Fund (PANDA)
  • Orbis Global Balanced Feeder Fund (ORBIGG)
  • Coronation Global Balanced Fund (CARTBL)
  • ABSA Global Multi-Asset Fund (ABAM2)

These funds are managed by South African asset managers investing across international markets. They give you access to diversified global portfolios without needing to select and manage individual offshore stocks yourself.

Building a more balanced portfolio in 2026

The additions we made this year reflect how portfolios are evolving.

There is a stronger focus on combining different types of investments to achieve specific outcomes. Growth remains important, particularly through themes like AI. Income and global diversification are also playing a bigger role in how portfolios are structured.

Together, these instruments make it easier to build a portfolio that brings those elements into one place.

We’re still listening

Everything we’ve added this year started with how you invest.

We continue to pay close attention to what you’re searching for, investing in, and asking us to bring onto the platform. That feedback shapes how we expand our offering and improve your experience.

If you’d like to see how we’re growing and where we’re focusing next, we recently shared an update as part of the Purple Group interim results.

It’s one more way to stay connected to how we’re working to serve you better.
