We’re heading into August, and several companies have signaled that they will be paying cash dividends to their shareholders. The last date to trade shares that qualify for these payments is this month.

Companies paying a special dividend or more than two cash payments are:

  • RMB Holdings Limited will be paying a special dividend.
  • Omnia Holdings Limited will be paying an ordinary and special dividend.
  • Kumba Iron Ore Limited is paying a cash dividend that consists of an ordinary and a top-up cash dividend.

Interestingly, Omnia Holdings Limited and Kumba Iron Ore are among the companies that also qualify to be used as collateral for a loan on EasyEquities.

Anglo American Plc and Anglo American Platinum Limited are among the other big names with upcoming last trade dates.


Karooooo Ltd will be paying $1.06 per share.

Crookes Brothers Limited will be paying R2.00 per share.

  • Last trading date – 05 August 2024
  • Payment date – 12 August 2024

Omnia Holdings Limited will be paying R7.00 (R3.75 Ordinary and R3.25 special) per share. 

  • Last trading date – 13 August 2024
  • Payment date – 19 August 2024

Hudaco Industries Limited will be paying R3.25 per share.

  • Last trading date – 13 August 2024
  • Payment date – 19 August 2024

Kumba Iron Ore Limited will be paying R18,77 (R16.70 ordinary and R2.07 top-up) per share.

  • Last trading date – 13 August 2024
  • Payment date – 19 August 2024

Anglo American Plc will be paying R7.70 per share.

  • Last trading date – 13 August 2024
  • Payment date – 27 September 2024

Grindrod Shipping Holdings Ltd will be paying R258.13 per share.

  • Last trading date – 15 August 2024
  • Payment date – 21 August 2024
  • Delisting date – 30 August 2024

Anglo American Platinum Limited will be paying R9.75 per share.

  • Last trading date – 20 August 2024
  • Payment date – 26 August 2024

Investec PLC will be paying R4.44 per share

  • Last trading date – 20 August 2024
  • Payment date - 06 September2024

Investec Limited will be paying R4.44 per share

  • Last trading date – 20 August 2024
  • Payment date - 06 September  2024

RMB Holdings Limited will be paying R0.03 per share.

  • Last trading date – 27 August 2024
  • Payment date – 02 September 2024
