EasyResearch Weekly Dividends Update
1:08

We’re in the last few weeks of December, and this week’s dividend update includes GE Vernova, which is paying its first-ever dividend to shareholders. This comes after its shares rallied by more than 140% since listing earlier this year following a spin-off by GE (General Electric).

There are also special dividends to be paid:

  • Lamar Advertising Co, a leading North American outdoor advertising company with billboards, transit ads, and digital displays, will be paying both an ordinary and special dividend.
  • Main Street Capital, which provides debt and equity capital to lower middle-market businesses, is paying a special dividend after already paying its monthly dividend earlier this month.
  • Paccar Inc, a designer and manufacturer of heavy-duty trucks, and Super Group SGHC, a global online sports betting and gaming operator and the owner of Betway, are both paying special dividends.

The special dividend marks Super Group SGHC's first dividend since its listing.

In terms of yields, African Media Entertainment is one of the companies with an annual dividend yield of 11%.
