Our first-ever EasyAwards have landed. And the winners? Well, our investors had the final say.

On 20 October 2026, we rolled out the red carpet for our very first EasyAwards, celebrating the investors, investment products and providers that have helped shape the EasyEquities community.

EasyEquities didn't become what it is today on its own. It took millions of investors, a whole lot of investment choices, and the providers who helped make those choices possible.

Together, they've helped shape a platform that's grown well beyond where we started. More investors. More ways to invest. More possibilities. And a community that continues to surprise us.

We've always loved celebrating the people and partnerships behind our story. But this time, we decided to do things a little differently.

Enter the EasyAwards. Our first-ever awards celebrating the investors, products and providers who've helped shape the EasyEquities we know today.

And the best part? The winners were chosen by our investors.

No judges. No voting. Just the numbers doing their thing.

The EasyAwards are based on what actually happened on our platform between 1 September 2025 and 31 August 2026.

Every investment made. Every product chosen. Every investing habit built. Every friend introduced to the world of investing.

Our Business Intelligence team crunched the numbers to identify the winners across three categories:

• Product Awards: The investments our community chose most, whether by number of investors or net investment value.
• Provider Awards: The investment providers helping make different types of investing more accessible.
• Individual Awards: The investors making their mark through their investing activity and contributions to our community.

In total, 17 winners across 10 awards. All driven by real investor activity.

And the EasyAward goes to...

The Product Awards

From first investments to fan favourites, these awards tell us which products caught our investors' attention and attracted their money.

The Investor Starter

Everyone starts somewhere. This award goes to the product chosen by the most new investors for their very first investment.

This one's about where the money went. These products attracted the highest net investment value in their respective categories.

The Slice is Right

Proof that investing doesn't have to start with a massive amount. This award recognises the share bought by the most investors investing R2,000 or less.

Winner: Capitec

The Provider Awards

Behind the products on our platform are providers helping give investors access to different ways of investing.

These awards recognise the providers our community engaged with most, based on specific investing behaviours.

The Portfolio Regular

For the provider with the most unique investors buying its passive funds in at least three separate months during the year.

Winner: Satrix

The Minimum Breaker

For the unit trust provider with the most unique investors across its range on EasyEquities.

Winner: Allan Gray

The Pro in Your Corner

For the provider whose actively managed funds, excluding unit trusts, attracted the most unique investors.

Winner: EasyETFs

The Individual Awards

Products are one thing. But the people behind the portfolios? That's where the really interesting stories live.

These awards celebrate the investors who've made their mark on our platform and in our community.

The Community Builder

Because good things are worth sharing.

This award goes to the investor who referred the most people who went on to open an account, deposit money and start investing.

The Mix Master

One account? Why stop there?

This award recognises the investor who invested through the most different EasyEquities accounts, while maintaining an investment in each at the end of the year.

Winner: Francois Strydom

The Thrivalist

For the investor who really understood the assignment when it came to our Thrive loyalty program.

This award recognises the highest combined Thrive engagement score, based on monthly Thrive levels and completed challenges.

Winner: Ameer Magan

And because recognition deserves a little something extra, each of our Individual Award winners receives R10,000 worth of EasyMoney into their Thrive Rewards Account.

The celebration doesn't end when the trophies are handed out.

Winning products will carry an EasyAwards trophy badge on their instruments for the next 12 months. Winning providers will also display their badges on their pages.

When we started EasyEquities, the mission was simple: make investing accessible to more South Africans.
