As of November 2024, EasyProperties manages a total of 41 properties for our investors, with a dynamic mix that includes urban apartments, luxury student accommodation, industrial properties, and both short- and long-term stay properties, along with some sought after coastal locations. We currently have 9 properties under construction, with several nearing completion in the coming months.

Seahorse Knysna

The Seahorse Knysna development has been progressing well despite challenging ground conditions. They've successfully completed most of the sub-surface drainage and layer works, which are crucial in providing a stable foundation for the structure.

Did you know? Sub-surface drainage helps prevent water build-up and protects the foundation, while layer works create a stable base for long-lasting construction.

The first floor is being cast in sections, with one section already completed, and the others are progressing well. Construction is on track for structural completion by early February 2025. Once the structure is above ground, the pace of work will increase significantly, with brickwork scheduled to begin in mid-November.

Akaru Bryanston

Akaru Bryanston is moving forward as planned, with an expected move-in date around March - April 2025. The building's exterior is taking shape with the roofing nearly complete and facade work progressing steadily. Inside, kitchen installations are underway, and the developers are working to ensure the apartments are ready on time.

The Fynbos

Construction at The Fynbos is steadily progressing as of October 31, 2024. They have completed 64.48% of bulk earthworks, 59.61% of lateral support, and 66.48% of anchors. These elements are essential for stabilising the site and preparing it for the construction phases to follow. While hard rock has been encountered, which required specialised drilling techniques, the project is still on track.

Volley Baileys

Echoing the success of Volley Brooklyn's quick turnaround, Volley Baileys is aiming for a December 2024 completion! This student accommodation is perfectly timed for the 2025 intake, with Bachelor units already fully booked.

BlackBrick Gardens

Construction at BlackBrick Gardens is progressing smoothly. Structural work is currently underway, while demolition is nearing completion. We're excited to see this property come to life and will keep you updated on further developments.

The One

We are happy to announce that rental applications for students for the 2025 academic year are now open. The first section of the roof went up 27 weeks ago, and The One is on track for completion by the end of 2024, just in time for the new intake of students.

Saxon Square

They’ve made significant strides at Saxon Square since the last update. The site development Plan and approvals have been granted, and the site has officially been handed over to the building contractor. While we are finalising the construction timeline, we are excited to continue moving forward despite the challenges of rising inflation (more than 20% increase). Rest assured, the price of your unit remains fixed, making this an excellent investment with great value.
