January 2026 ETF Dividends List: Satrix, 1nvest, 10x and FNB

January 2026 ETF Dividends List: Satrix, 1nvest, 10x and FNB
2:47

Dividend season in the exchange-traded funds space continues, with this week’s update featuring some of South Africa’s largest ETF providers, including Satrix, 10X and 1nvest.

The list includes a range of diversified funds that investors may consider as part of a broader diversification strategy across different markets and themes.

These span fixed income, dividend-focused strategies such as dividend aristocrats, as well as the commodity and mining space.

Popular funds on EasyEquities, such as the Satrix Resi Portfolio, an ETF that tracks the FTSE/JSE Capped Resources 10 Index and provides concentrated exposure to South Africa’s largest resource companies, continue to benefit from rising commodity prices. The fund is up by more than 130% over the past year.

When commodity prices rise, mining companies may pay higher dividends, which can in turn lead to increased payouts for ETFs invested in these companies. In line with this trend, Satrix Resi is increasing its cash dividend by more than 150% compared to the previous payout in the same period last year.
It’s important to note that past performance does not guarantee future returns.

Other ETFs that will also be paying cash dividends include:

  • Satrix Capped All Share ETF, which tracks the broad FTSE/JSE Capped All Share Index and provides diversified exposure to large, mid, and small South African companies, with individual stock weights capped at 10% to reduce concentration risk.
  • 1nvest TOP 40 ETF, which replicates the FTSE/JSE Top 40 Index by investing in the 40 largest companies listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
  • Satrix JSE Global Equity ETF, which follows the FTSE/JSE Global Equity Index to offer exposure to the largest South African stocks, weighted by global free-float market capitalisation.
  • Satrix Dividend Plus Portfolio, which aims to track the FTSE/JSE Dividend Plus Index and focuses on South African companies expected to deliver relatively high dividends.
  • 10X Global Dividend Aristocrats ETF, which tracks a custom S&P Global Dividend Aristocrats Blend Index of international companies with strong histories of stable or growing dividends.

Dividend season in the ETF space continues, with this week’s update featuring payouts from South Africa’s major providers, including Satrix, 10X and 1nvest. Most funds pay dividends quarterly, while some, like the Satrix Capped All Share ETF, pay every two months, which could suit investors looking for more regular payouts.
