July 2024 Dividends List

The first half of 2024 is behind us, and we are now moving towards the year's end!

Several JSE-listed companies have indicated they will be paying dividends, with the last day to buy shares eligible for the payout being in July. These companies are also eligible to be used for EasyCredit loans on EasyEquities.

• Mr Price Group Limited is paying a final cash dividend for its financial year, which is 17% higher than last year's payout in the same period.

“By focusing on delivering value to our customers, the group has strengthened its market position, as evidenced by gaining market share for 7 consecutive months at better margins.” - Mr Price Group Limited.

• Tiger Brands Limited will pay an interim dividend that is 9% higher than the payout in the previous comparative period.

“The next reporting cycle will mark the first 6-month period under new leadership with the first green shoots of our turnaround efforts expected to emerge.” - Tiger Brands Limited.

• Netcare Limited will maintain the same dividend as last year's interim payout, while Hosken Consolidated Investment Limited will be paying a cash dividend to its investors this year after not paying last year.
• Stor-Age Property REIT Limited: Paying a lower dividend, slightly lower than last year’s final payout.

The next dividend payout from Mr Price Group, Stor-Age Property and Hosken Consolidated Investment Limited is likely to be in December (interim), while Tiger Brands & Netcare are expected to pay their next dividend (final) by January next year.

Additionally, there are several companies paying their first-ever dividends and special dividends:

• Alexander Forbes Group Holdings Limited and Bytes Technology Group PLC will be paying a dividend consisting of ordinary and special cash payments.
• Enx Group Limited will pay a special dividend that is more than 50% of its current share price as of writing.
• Zeda Limited (owner of Avis) and Premier Group Limited (owner of Blue Ribbon, Lil-Lets & more) will be paying their first dividend.
