For May, the JSE (Johannesburg Stock Exchange) already has several companies that have indicated they will be paying dividends.


These payouts include increased payouts and special dividends!

  • One of South Africa’s largest banks, Capitec Bank Holdings Limited, with more than a third the country banking with it, increased its dividend by 19%; Capitec Bank is also a partner of EasyEquities (owned by Purple Group and Sanlam), which enables Capitec Bank app users to invest using the EasyEquities platform.
  • Exxaro Resources Ltd, one of South Africa’s largest coal producers that supplies Eskom with coal, will be paying a special and ordinary dividend.
  • RMB Holdings Limited, an investment holding firm that owns a share in Mall Of Africa, will be paying another special dividend following a share repurchase.
  • Zeder Investment Limited, an investment firm focused on agriculture, will also be paying a special dividend; the company has a history of consistently paying a special dividend, which it paid twice last year and once earlier this year.

Exxaro Resources Limited will be paying R15.82 (R10.10 Ordinary and R5.72 Special) per share.

AfroCentric Investment Corporation Limited will be paying R0.11 per share. 

  • Last trading date – 07 May 2024
  • Payment date - 13 May 2024

PSG Financial Services Limited will be paying R0.28 per share. 

  • Last trading date – 07 May 2024
  • Payment date – 13 May 2024

Capitec Bank Holdings Limited will be paying R33.45 per share.

  • Last trading date – 14 May 2024
  • Payment date – 20 May 2024

Alphamin Resources Corporation will be paying R0.41 per share.

  • Last trading date – 14 May 2024
  • Payment date – 24 May 2024

Master Drilling Group Limited will be paying R0.52 per share.

  • Last trading date – 14 May 2024
  • Payment date – 20 May 2024

Zeder Investment Limited will be paying R0.10 per share.

  • Last trading date – 14 May 2024
  • Payment date – 20 May 2024

Redefine Properties Limited will be paying R0.20 per share.

  • Last trading date – 21 May 2024
  • Payment date – 27 May 2024

RMB Holdings Limited will be paying R0.03 per share.

  • Last trading date – 27 May 2024
  • Payment date – 03 June 2024
