Spring has sprung, and with the new season comes a wave of dividend boosts from several JSE-listed companies. Investors should note that the last day to trade to qualify for these payouts is approaching this month. 

Among the highlights: 

  • Gold Fields Limited will lift its upcoming dividend by more than 130% compared to the same period last year. 
  • DRDGOLD has doubled its dividend, marking a 100% increase.  
  • Spur Corporation Limited is raising its dividend by more than 60% year-on-year. 
  • ADvTECH Limited is increasing its dividend by 18% compared to the prior comparable period (PCP).
  • SABVEST Capital and Absa Group Limited are both lifting dividends by 14% compared to PCP. 
  • Standard Bank is increasing its dividend by 10%. 
  • Nedbank Group will raise its dividend by 6%. 

Rainbow Chicken is also gearing up to pay its first dividend, following a strong set of results that delivered triple-digit earnings growth. 

This month also brings multiple and special payouts: 

  • Grindrod Limited and Italtile Limited will be paying both a special and an ordinary dividend.
  • Life Healthcare Group Holdings will pay a special dividend.

NEPI Rockcastle will give shareholders the choice to receive their upcoming payout as either a capital repayment or a cash dividend.
