As earnings reports continue to be published this week, ASML Holdings, a Dutch leader in photolithography machines, is expected to announce earnings. Analysts have raised estimates, giving it a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy). Despite expected declines in FY24, next quarter's sales and EPS are projected to rise 14.5% and 15.7% YoY, respectively, with FY25 sales and earnings forecasted to jump 36.2% and 55%, respectively. Its shares are up over 40% in the past year.

It’s always important to take into account that past performance does not guarantee future returns. Netflix, TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company), American Express and Johnson & Johnson will also announce their earnings during the week.

Companies that will be paying cash dividends to shareholders with upcoming last dates to trade this week include:

  • Revvity Inc: A company that provides software to help businesses manage their customer relationships.
  • GE HealthCare Technologies Inc: A manufacturer of medical imaging, diagnostics, and other healthcare technologies.

Caterpillar Inc. has been paying dividends for some time, and the company increased its upcoming payout by 8%.

Pick n Pay has finalised its rights offer, and the last trading date to participate in the offer is this week.

When it comes to ETFs (exchange-traded funds), there are funds from Satrix and 10X (formerly CoreShares) that will also be paying dividends to holders, with the last date to trade being this week as well.
