This investor aims to be financially independent by 45

Moses Mahlangu is 29 years old and has been investing for the last 4 years. He’s got his goals in check: he wants to achieve financial independence by the time he gets to 45.

Moses is a Core Network Engineer from Bryanston, Johannesburg, and his first investment was buying Sasol shares. Sasol has been a hugely popular stock among the EasyEquities community, and often features as one of our monthly #EasyEquitiesTop5Buys.

He then expanded his portfolio to include Exchange Traded Funds. “I wanted to diversify my portfolio,” says Moses, who has now invested across local and international markets, and across different asset classes as well. Moses also owns the Betashares Crypto Innovators ETF in his AUD wallet which provides exposure to global companies in the crypto economy.

Alongside his investing goals, Moses has other plans for his wealth.
