Last week was all about All Things AI (Artificial Intelligence)! 💻🤖

  • On Friday, Nvidia surpassed Apple to become the world’s most valuable company, driven by record demand for its AI chips.
  • Tesla's stock surged after exceeding market expectations, with autonomous vehicles and AI-driven robotics at the core of its future strategy.
  • EasyEquities launched its first EasyETFs AMETF (actively managed ETF), the EasyETFs AI World AMETF. The fund aims for long-term growth by targeting AI-adopting companies. For DIY investors, EasyEquities also offers the opportunity to build an AI-generated portfolio across various themes.

We’re in the thick of earnings season, with some of the world's biggest companies set to announce earnings this week. This includes companies likely to increase their dividend payouts:

  • Monday: Ford
  • Tuesday: McDonald's, BP, Pfizer, Alphabet (Google), AMD, VISA
  • Wednesday: Eli Lilly, Caterpillar, Microsoft, Meta, Starbucks
  • Thursday: Uber, Mastercard, Amazon, Apple, Intel
  • Friday: Chevron Corp and ExxonMobil

Pfizer, VISA, and ExxonMobil are likely to increase their quarterly dividends this week, given their history of raising payouts every four quarters. Mastercard may increase its dividend later in the month.

Chevron Corp and Eli Lilly are expected to announce dividends matching last quarter's payout, with a potential increase anticipated for the following period.

  • Other companies announcing earnings this week include Reddit, Coinbase, Estee Lauder, Robinhood, Peloton, and Kellanova. Enterprise Products Partners L.P. typically increases its dividend after every second quarter, so it may announce an increase following this week’s dividend payout.

The latest update also includes companies like Agree Realty Corp, STAG Industrial, Realty Income Corp, and AGNC Investment Corp, which pay dividends monthly. AGNC currently has an annual dividend yield of 14%.
