The month continues to present opportunities for investors to expand and diversify income streams on EasyEquities, with a number of fixed-income and passive-income-paying products having upcoming last dates to trade. 

In the fixed-income space, South African government bonds (SAGB R2035 and SAGB R2048) will be paying coupons to investors, and the last day to trade is this week. 

Special dividends, stock dividends, and monthly dividend payments are also on the way: 

  • Expand Energy Corporation and Omnia Holdings Ltd will be paying a cash dividend consisting of both an ordinary and a special dividend. 
  • Southern Copper Corporation will be paying a cash dividend as well as a stock dividend, where investors will receive additional shares at a set ratio. 
  • Prescient Income Provider Feeder Actively Managed ETF continues to pay a monthly dividend, and the last day to invest to qualify for the August dividend is this week. The fund is also available in the TFSA (tax-free savings account). 

EasyProperties is on a roll to bring value to property investors, launching Platinum Square, the first-ever retail property investment IPO that’s an anchor-tenant-led shopping centre in Rustenburg. It features a diverse mix of blue-chip tenants and is expected to deliver robust and stable income returns.
