Weekly Dividends Update

Weekly Dividends Update
1:25

As we close out the year and head into 2026, this week presents several opportunities for investors looking to build and expand income, with companies offering annual dividend yields ranging from 7% to 15%.

These include:

  • EPR Properties – dividend yield of about 7%
  • Annaly Capital Management Inc – dividend yield of approximately 12%
  • AGNC Investment Corp – dividend yield of nearly 14%
  • Innovative Industrial Properties Inc – dividend yield of roughly 15%

Investors may also consider companies increasing dividends and initiating share buybacks:

  • Veralto Corporation raised its dividend by 18% and launched its first-ever stock buyback programme of $750 million.
  • GE Vernova LLC doubled its dividend and increased its authorised share buyback from $6 billion to $10 billion.

Additionally, Hingham Institution for Savings, one of America’s oldest banks, will pay cash dividends that include both an ordinary and a special dividend.

In corporate actions such as delistings and spin-offs, Comcast plans a spin-off, giving investors one Versant Media Group share for every 25 Comcast shares owned. The last date to buy qualifying Comcast shares is this week.

Astoria Investments and Renergen are set to delist, with the final day to buy or sell shares eligible for these shareholder offers also falling this week.

Government bonds offer a reliable way to earn fixed income by lending money to the government in exchange for regular interest payments.
Dividends are one of the many key components of investing, representing a share of a company's profits distributed to its shareholders.
Special dividends, also known as extraordinary dividends, are one-time payments made by companies to shareholders due to specific financial events, like windfall profits or asset sales.
