EasyResearch Weekly Dividends Update

EasyResearch Weekly Dividends Update
1:59

The first half of 2025 is about to come to an end, and since the beginning of the year, more than R171 million has been paid out from the local market to investors holding dividend-paying stocks on EasyEquities.

More than $1.3 million has been paid out from the American market, and over $160,000 from the Australian market - with more still to come as companies continue to announce upcoming cash dividends.

For this week’s update, it’s worth noting that Gladstone Investment Corp will be paying a special dividend, with the last day to buy shares and qualify for the payout falling within the week.

  • The company will also pay its regular monthly dividend later this month.

Main Street Capital will start off by paying its monthly dividend, which is included in the latest update. It has also declared a special dividend to be paid later in the month.

This week also includes Booking Holdings, which recently hit fresh all-time highs on Friday. The company continues to lead the leisure and travel sector with strong fundamentals.

  • Additionally, Booking is increasing its dividend payout compared to last year’s quarterly distribution - reflecting growing confidence in its financial performance.

Alphabet (Google), PepsiCo, and General Motors Co are also among the companies included in this week’s dividend update. These companies pay dividends quarterly.

Vodafone Group PLC, a multinational telecommunications company listed on the UK and US markets with each ADR (American Depositary Receipt) representing 10 ordinary shares), will also be paying a dividend soon. The last date to trade to qualify is approaching. Vodafone pays cash dividends twice a year.

In the fixed-income space, the South African government bond, SAGB R186, will be paying its first coupon for the year, and the last day to invest to qualify for the payout is this week.
