Meanwhile, attention will also turn to China, where earnings from major players like Alibaba, JD.com, and Tencent are expected. These results may offer a glimpse into Chinese consumer demand and the broader tech and retail landscape.

  • Naspers, because of its holding in Tencent through Prosus, often mirrors the share price movements of Tencent.

Several multinational companies from different industries are set to pay dividends, with upcoming last dates to trade - an opportunity investors could consider as part of a diversification strategy amid shifting global economic signals and evolving monetary policy expectations.
