Weekly Dividends Update

This week, tech giant NVIDIA and defence and aerospace giant Rolls-Royce are set to announce their latest financial results, offering key insights into global demand trends. Both companies are also among the most popular shares in their respective markets within the EasyEquities investor community.

NVIDIA’s results will be closely watched as a barometer for the global semiconductor industry, particularly as artificial intelligence and data centre growth continue to drive demand. 

• The company has been consistent in its quarterly dividend payouts. 

• NVIDIA shares have increased by more than 40% over the past 12 months, supported by strong AI demand and a positive earnings outlook.

Rolls-Royce’s performance could provide a snapshot of momentum in the global defence sector, where rising military spending and long-term government contracts continue to support earnings visibility. 

• The company follows a dividend policy of distributing 30% of its underlying pre-tax profits and pays dividends twice a year. 

• Its shares have risen by more than 120% over the past year, driven by expectations of increased defence spending.

Super Group SGHC Limited, which owns Betway. 

• Expected to announce a quarterly dividend. 

• The company previously increased its quarterly dividend to $0.04 per share and declared a special dividend due to robust cash generation and a positive 2026 outlook.

International Consolidated Airlines Group, which owns British Airways. 

• Indicated that it intends to return excess cash to shareholders when announcing its upcoming financial results. 

• The company pays dividends twice a year.

Baidu, often referred to as the Google of China.

• Recently authorised a $5 billion share repurchase programme.

• Adopted a dividend policy, with its first dividend expected in 2026.

Precious metal prices have reached record highs in recent months, resulting in several mining companies increasing their cash dividends. 

• Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is increasing its upcoming dividend by around 12%

• Pan American Silver Corp is boosting its dividend by approximately 29%.

• Barrick Mining Corporation has increased its dividend by about 140%.

The week also presents an opportunity for investors seeking monthly income. Companies preparing to pay monthly dividends include Realty Income Corporation, Agree Realty Corp, EPR Properties and AGNC Investment Corp. The last day to buy shares to qualify for their upcoming dividends falls during this week.

• EPR Properties currently offers an annual dividend yield of around 6%

• AGNC Investment Corp has an annual dividend yield of around 12%, as of writing.

Dividend yield is a percentage that shows how much income an investor could receive from a share over a year relative to its current price.

In addition, Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc began paying monthly dividends this year.
