March 2026 Dividends List: JSE-Listed Shares

March (Money March) is here, bringing increased dividend payouts from several JSE-listed companies.

  • Bid Corporation Limited, a global foodservice distributor supplying food and catering products to hospitality businesses across multiple countries, is boosting its dividend by 9%.

  • Spur Corporation, a South African restaurant franchisor operating well-known brands such as Spur Steak Ranches and RocoMamas, increased its dividend by 13%.

  • City Lodge Hotels Limited, a hotel group providing affordable accommodation to business and leisure travellers across Southern Africa, has increased its dividend by 33%.

Furthermore, higher precious metal prices are benefiting shareholders of mining companies, with some increasing their cash dividends by up to 4,500%, while others are initiating interim payouts and paying special dividends.

  • Sibanye-Stillwater Limited has reinstated its cash dividend payment, with the last day to buy shares qualifying for the upcoming dividend falling this month.

  • Valterra Platinum Limited and Gold Fields Limited are paying cash dividends that consist of both ordinary and special components.

  • DRDGOLD will be increasing its cash dividend by 67% compared to the previous comparative period (PCP).

  • AngloGold Ashanti plc will boost its upcoming cash dividend by 150%.

  • Northam Platinum Holdings Limited is increasing its upcoming cash dividend by around 4,500%.

It’s worth noting that most of the above-mentioned mining companies are also among the top holdings in the Satrix RESI ETF, which tracks South Africa’s largest (top 10) resource companies. 

  • The fund usually distributes cash dividends to investors quarterly and is available in the Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA), where investors don’t pay tax on dividends received or capital gains earned.

  • Starting this month, the annual TFSA contribution limit has increased to R46,000.

Additionally, Caxton and PTP Publishers and Printers Limited withdrew its special dividend payout and declared an ordinary dividend instead, updating its payout and last trading date to later this month.
