From drinks up (Biri Marung 🎶) during the long weekend to dividends up, as major market players like Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV, one of the world's largest brewing companies, get ready to pay dividends that have increased by 22%. The last date to trade is this week, on what others would refer to as Phuza Friday 🍻, popping bottles while your portfolio pops dividends.

  • Capitec Bank Holdings Ltd, South Africa’s largest retail bank by market cap and the bank with the most clients in the country, will be boosting its cash dividend to shareholders by 32% compared to the previous period.
  • PSG Financial Services Ltd, another South African financial services group offering a broad range of financial solutions - including wealth management, asset management, and insurance -will be increasing its final dividend for the year by 22% compared to the previous comparative period.

Additionally, RCL Foods Limited - the South African consumer goods pioneer behind brands like Sunbake, Selati, Yum Yum, and Nola Mayonnaise - also reported double-digit growth in earnings for the six-month period, which ended December 2024 and will be paying dividends; last year, no dividend was declared for the period.
