In celebration of International Women’s Month, MB Teen Lifestyle is one of the latest initiatives investors can support, empowering young women and girls through education, healthcare, and gender equality programs. With seamless donations, this feature makes it easy for investors to continue investing in both financial growth and social impact.

Who Is MB Teen Lifestyle?

MB Teen Lifestyle is a South African social enterprise dedicated to reducing adolescents’ and young people’s vulnerability to societal challenges. The organization focuses on preventing social issues such as early unintended pregnancies, gender-based violence, HIV and STIs, mental health concerns, climate change, and recidivism. They utilize Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) as a strategic entry point to address these challenges.

The organization’s approach encompasses several key areas:

  • Life Skills: Develops critical thinking, communication, and entrepreneurship.
  • Identity Building: Boosts self-esteem, awareness, and leadership.
  • Community Collaboration: Creates support networks through partnerships.
  • Youth Advocacy: Empowers youth in activism and decision-making.

MB Teen Lifestyle engages communities through events like the Nellmapius Heritage Day Celebration, Mosetsana Pads school tours, SRHR sessions, the Girl Get Up initiative, and career guidance in Olieven. These initiatives educate, empower, and inspire youth to make informed decisions and create positive change.

In light of the organization’s ongoing efforts to empower women, Nkeletseng Tsetsane, founder of MB Teen Lifestyle, is featured in UNAIDS South Africa’s tribute to women leading the fight for equality and empowerment. Her powerful message reminds us: “Let us intentionally build a world where well-being thrives, for people and the planet… Remember, our legacy is in the lives we touch.”

Through her work, she continues to inspire change, advocating for young women’s rights, dignity, and community-driven impact.

"Over the past two years, our focus has been on amplifying the voices of in-school youth by ensuring they understand and can engage with protective country policies and frameworks. An example of this is how we hosted informative, interactive sessions on the existence of the Protocol on the Prevention and Management of Sexual Harassment and Abuse in Schools,” Nkeletseng explains.

"We have capitalized on an existing relationship with the National South African Police Service, who have consistently made themselves available to engage teenagers on issues such as digital safety, revenge porn, and other critical topics. We have also implemented community campaigns with global NGOs on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights. Our longstanding partnership with organizations such as the Soul City Institute for Social Justice has enabled us to engage young people on the Policy on the Prevention and Management of Learner Pregnancy."

MB Teen Lifestyle is currently driving impactful projects, including:

  • Seed 4 Skill: A skills exchange program linking informal traders with unemployed youth, combining business experience with digital skills for growth.
  • Young Urban Women Movement Mamelodi: A campaign empowering young women to understand economic systems, advocate for change, and reimagine their communities.
  • The Tweeny Library: A book collection initiative to create a mini-library in Mamelodi, fostering a love for reading and improving youth literacy.

By donating to MB Teen Lifestyle, investors support the empowerment of young people with essential life skills and advocacy tools, fostering lasting social change in communities. To learn more about "Donate for Good," click here or below.
