Not Just Another Day at the Office

Not Just Another Day at the Office

The Philippine team brought the heat (literally and figuratively) with their Sports Day 2025, and it turned out to be one for the books. It was the perfect chance to swap laptops for rackets and basketballs, and just enjoy some time together outside the usual office grind.

The games brought out a mix of competitive spirit and pure fun. Pickleball had some intense rallies, badminton matches had people sprinting for every shot, and basketball turned into full-on battles with the loudest cheers of the day.

Sports Day 3

Sure, everyone wanted to win, but what stood out was how quick people were to clap, cheer, and celebrate each other’s efforts,
whether it was a great shot or just a funny miss. Players weren’t sticking to just one sport, teammates were rotating, trying new games, and even total beginners were jumping in like pros.

Sports Day 7

Of course, the competitive spirit came alive. There were plenty of “must-win” moments and serious hustle on the courts. But what stood out was how well it was balanced with encouragement, laughter, and high-fives all around. Win or lose, everyone was genuinely having fun.

Just like at work, the PH team knows how to push hard when it matters, but also how to step back, recharge, and enjoy the moment together.

All in all, Sports Day was a hit. Fun, sweaty, and a refreshing change of pace. The PH team showed how balance, on the court and in the office, keeps us motivated, connected, and ready for whatever comes next. Hopefully, this becomes a regular thing, because the only thing better than one Sports Day is more of them.
