We’ve opened the door to another major listing - and this time, it’s Optasia, one of the world’s largest AI-powered fintech platforms, soon listing on the JSE.
If you’re a fan of frontier markets, inclusive finance, and tech that scales across borders, this one might be worth a closer look.
Meet Optasia
Operating in 38 countries and partnering with mobile giants like MTN, Airtel, Vodacom, and Jazz, Optasia delivers real-time credit and airtime advances to over 121 million users each month. Their tech processes more than 32 million transactions per day, distributing an eye-watering $23 billion+ in micro-loans since 2016.
This isn’t just a scale story. It’s about financial inclusion powered by AI — and it’s now landing on the JSE’s Main Board on Monday, 3 November 2025.
When we place our collective order, we’re doing so at the market price, not a fixed or pre-agreed price. This means we accept the final listing price as determined by the institutional bookbuild process - which may fluctuate depending on demand.
Here are a few reasons investors are watching this one closely:
Optasia is the kind of IPO that’s typically out of reach for retail investors - but we’re here to change that. Just like we did with Boxer, we’re bringing big listings to the people, one opportunity at a time.
