Many in our community are brand ambassadors in more ways than one. Our partners and supporters constantly find meaningful ways to champion both financial sustainability and the dreams of young South Africans.

One such champion is Jénine Crous from Sanlam, whose child is part of an inspiring group of young athletes from the Academy of Acrobats and Dance (AAD). As part of their fundraising efforts, they are encouraging families and supporters to open EasyEquities investment accounts, helping to promote financial education while supporting the dancers’ journey to the global stage.

From the AAD community, two fundraising initiatives have already taken place this year, with around eight more planned for the rest of the year. The journey to their goal is still long, and every bit of support makes a difference.

These young athletes (ranging from age 8 to 16) inspire us every day through their unwavering dedication and commitment. They devote countless hours in the studio, managing to balance their intense training schedules with schoolwork, extracurricular activities, family responsibilities, and the discipline required to excel in Acrobatics and Dance competitions.

Our talented team members are busy preparing for a challenging year ahead as they work tirelessly to compete in competitions throughout the year and qualify to attend DanceStar in 2027. This prestigious international competition will take place in Croatia in 2027, where our athletes will have the honour of representing South Africa as part of Team South Africa when they qualify.

Our team members will be competing in either the Acro or dance category or both in order to maximize their chances of bringing home gold medals. Their dream, though simple, is deeply meaningful: to represent South Africa on the world stage and demonstrate the potential of our nation’s youth.

For these dancers and acrobats, DanceStar 2027 isn’t just another competition. It’s a chance to stand on a global stage and show the world what South African dedication, talent and spirit look like.
